If you are interested in meeting Chinooks "in the fur" please feel free to visit with us at any of the events on our schedule for the coming months. Do check with me ahead of time to make sure I'll be at each of these as with a day job and family responsibilities, my recreational activities may change on short notice.

August 24 - 25, 2002	UKC Shows sponosred by NW APBT Club Four shows, two shows each day Frontier Park, Pierce County Fairgrounds Graham, Washington We are going to have a huge crowd from all over the west coming for this event so you are encouraged to come out and watch and join in the fun.
August 31, 2002	Herding at Ewe-Topia sponsored by the Washington State Mixed Breed Dog Club Roy, Washington
September 28, 2002	Samoyed Olympics at Ewe-Topia The Samoyed Club is always kind enough to invite the Chinooks to come out for a day of herding, rigging, and agility at Ewe-Topia in Roy, Washington.  This is a very fun event for the dogs and owners as you will have the chance to try a lot of canine sports.

November 29 - 30, 2002	UKC Shows and Weight Pull sponsored by Cascade APBT Club Four shows, two each day, weight pull each day Cowlitz County Fairgrounds Longview, Washington
December 14, 2002	UKS Shows sponsored by the American Rat Terrier Association Two shows on Saturday Cascade Kennels Woodinville, Washington
July  2003	Chinook National Specialty comes to the Northwest! Stay tuned for more information.

Other activities will be added as they are confirmed.  We (our Northwest Chinook gang) hope to have many informal events over the spring and summer too.  Some are planned long in advance and others are on the spur of the moment.  We'll drop everything and have a party if we come up with a good reason.
