U-WP Ch. PR Rain Mountain Mahako Dave of Bear Creek

Call name: Dave
OFA Prelim Good, CERF Normal
Born November 10, 2002
Sire:  Ch. WoodsRunner Rorik (GDC Good, OFA Fair)
Dam:  Ch. PR Rain Mountain Jenna of Bear Creek (OFA Good)
Breeders: Ginger Corley, Rain Mountain Chinooks and Richard Strle, Bear Creek Chinooks
Owners:
JoAnn Filce and Ginger Corley

Dave is first and foremost a family guy.  His most important job in life is as companion to Anna and Zale Filce, their mom JoAnn, and dad Jim.  His best friends are Irish Water Spaniels Woody and Fred and kitty Daisy.

Dave is always ready to run and loves pulling the rig, sled, or JoAnn on her cross country skis.  He's also done well in his show career and with limited showing is one win away from his UKC championship.  JoAnn is focusing on AKC obedience and hopes to begin competition soon.

His love of pulling made his first experiences in weight pulling quite easy.  Dave earned one leg on his UKC Weight PUll title at his first pull in November of 2003, a few days after his first birthday.  His easy-going personality has made it simple to incorporate him into the Rain Mountain team and JoAnn's goals is to race with him durthe winter of 2004/2005.

A very traditional Chinook, Dave has excellent structure and movement.  He is filling out nicely and still has a lot of growing to go.  He is approximately 24" at the withers and weighs 70 pounds.  Dave will be available at stud on a limited basis to approved bitches though he is just a year old now.  For more information on Dave, please contact JoAnn Filce or Ginger Corley
